Community Guidelines

Last updated · June 14, 2026

BeatCypher is a stage for the human beatbox community. These guidelines keep it a place people actually want to drop a cypher. They apply to everything you post — cyphers, captions, comments, profiles, messages, and battle and challenge entries.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior.

Don't post

  • Hate or harassment — content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Threats or violence — threatening, inciting, or glorifying violence or self-harm.
  • Sexually explicit content — pornographic or sexually exploitative material, and anything that sexualises minors.
  • Illegal content — anything unlawful, or that promotes serious illegal acts.
  • Impersonation — pretending to be someone else or misrepresenting your identity.
  • Spam — repetitive, deceptive, or manipulative posting, scams, or artificial engagement.

Respect other creators

Post audio you have the right to share. Don't pass off someone else's set as your own, and credit beats you flip or sample where it matters.

Keep battles and challenges in good spirit

Compete hard, stay respectful. Battles and the daily flip are about skill and fun — not a vehicle for targeting or harassing other beatboxers.

Reporting, blocking, and enforcement

  • Report any cypher or profile that breaks these guidelines.
  • Block any user — blocking hides you from each other completely.

We review reports and remove content that breaks these rules. Accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate them are restricted or terminated, in serious cases without notice. These guidelines work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
